sorry to say this guys, but I see Chiru is surrounding himself with family members and not with professionals who can advise and guide him in this fight to acheive “change”. He is not screening the candidates as promised and letting goons and corrupt politicians get into the party. I wish he had worked together with Dr JP Narayan from Loksatta party. Loksatta party is the cleanest party out there . Dr JP is smart, has experience in administration and understands what needs to be done to reform politics and administration in AP. Just check out his website. His 50 guarantees ( not just promises mind you) are excellent. I see that PRP is copying LokSatta…. it is fine as long as their politics is clean and do not pay people/give liquor to people for votes…. My vote is for LokSatta… time to dump YSR, CBN and sorry Chiru too. We need to vote with brains not just emotion….

Well to all the people of andhra pradesh, i am just a common man would like to bring to the notice of all, what rights do these parties have to split a state? There is just One logic. When a State is split into two the Power doubles (i.e. number of minister posts will be doubled). N number of splits = N no of posts. Is it not a feast for the parties? This is the reason behind all the parties craving for splitting a state. To develop a region the person who won from that area has the power to do it. so what the ministers belonging to telangana have done to that region? Think about it. Do You people think that a region will be developed just by splitting or efficient leadership?. I saw that kind of proven efficiency in Dr. Jaya Prakash Narayan of Lok Satta Party. Just being good isnt enough for politics. We need efficient and smart people and a knowledge of administration to reach great heights in politics. Strictly speaking such people work as Personal secretaries or in Advisory boards under the leadership of unefficient persons. From the smallest and simplest of works to complex ones these unefficient poeple seek the advice of smarter ones (this is called exploiting). It is up to you to vote for your illogical emotions or to vote for the brightest sides of your brain. This is not to hurt anyone. This is purely my opinion.
January 22nd, 2009 at 8:59 pm
I forgot to mention one more thing. It is the people who must decide to split a state or not, because they are the sufferers. In my opinion before conducting general elections the authorities must conduct an election in which people should vote wheter they need telangana or not. Based on the majority action should be taken.
January 22nd, 2009 at 9:16 pm
There is a small correction in my above posts
N number of splits = N times the number of present posts for single state. Regrets.
January 24th, 2009 at 7:31 pm
Now PRP should stop commenting TDP and should focus on attacking strategically the Congress party. Till date compared to Congress TDP has done something good. Naidu has brought recognition to the state through InfoTech industry, world-wide. His govt. has co-ordinated with the then Vajpayee’s govt. and got better roads to the state, which never happened in the history of AP during congress regime. So let us not target TDP but let us target Congress if our party is really keen in reformation.
Thank you.

I agree with devineni pramod…..u r right…go ahead ….
March 29th, 2009 at 11:53 pm
1. I am not kamma or kolli - i dont even think about my caste or community. I feel I am Telugu.
2. WTF every ass tries to split the state? Instead of bringing everyone together, why sow the seeds of hatred? Are we not all Telugu? I think we should just change the name of the state to Telugu Naadu - to reflect the fact that this state is populated by Telugu people. Otherwise, tomorrow it will be Telangana, then it will be Rayalaseema, then it will be Greater Hyderabad.Where the F*** does this stop?
3. If you really believe this fat-ass “mega-star” is here to help you and me, think again. If he wants to help, he could have been doing for a long time now. He doesnt donate the blood from his blood banks - he sells it! At a higher price! And he has the gall to call upon his supporters to donate blood as if he was on a humanitarian mission! He is conducting business, pure and simple.
4. Even if you assume that he wants to do good, where are the people that will advise and guide him? He is getting the same old politicians from other parties! A jackal, whichever jungle it lives in, remains a jackal. You think a corrupt politician who joins PRP will suddenly become a good human being? Do you really believe that anyone, including this guy, are spending crores of rupees without expecting anything in return? MARK MY WORDS - he has made a 1000 crores, he now wants to make 10,000 crores.
5. Given that everyone is corrupt in politics, is he a better choice than the others? I say not. If on the corruption scale he is the same as everyone else, then on the experience level, he lags behind everyone else.
VOTE NO FOR THE FAT GUY
March 29th, 2009 at 11:56 pm
AND OF COURSE -
Dont you think, really, that both Chiru and Pavan are mediocre actors at best? I mean, where do you see their acting talent? they make faces, they use dupes. Pavan isnt even smart. Both are lousy lookers without make-up on. if dancing to music is acting in your definition, then recording dance troups do a better job, but at least they dont pretend that it is acting!
March 30th, 2009 at 12:01 am
AND -
if you differ from my comments - then - first, list the criteria that you think a good leader must have - and then weigh this guy against those criteria and see if he fits. A commitment to serve, an education to back up decision making skills, including well-informed and experienced advisors.
1. What service has he put in so far? except for for-profit blood banks?
2. What education does he have?
3. what advisors does he have? except family members?
THINK AGAIN!!
March 30th, 2009 at 11:11 pm
hello Mr.rav man
one thing u need 2 remenber, its not the criteria 2 donate all d property to a society inoreder to make into the politics.Wat people expect frm a person to serve is,his dedication, his heart, credibility and sincerity, but not his donation frm wat he earned previously
I think chiru had all dose qualities
We have 2 give one chance 2 see wat he do,if he is also routine, people r clever,so he also got the treatment.
Rav man,one thing i wanna clarification 4rm u,did u mean a cinema actor is the only criteria for person who doesnt know any service…
Keep in touch wid dis site, soon u wil come 2 know wat u really fail 2 comment on chiru and pavan
People wil accept chiru as cm to get the change to past 4r their better lives
U 2 hope dat chiru wil become our cm in d coming election, provided if ur a clever one
My id is lellaveeru@in.com
give ur id,After may16thi.e announcement of results….. i do wanna mail u about our CM Sri.K.Chiranjeevi
byee baba
takecare
March 30th, 2009 at 11:39 pm
Mr.Rav man,how u compare chiru wid other politicians,i think u have 2 mature my boy….
A corrupted person only knows the tactics of other corrupted person with ease….
Ur saying dat chiru had came 2 d politics 4r making 10000 crores wid 1000 crores of investment…My objection here is y people r not thinking in a positive manner ..y people like u r always think dat politics r only for money making..Thats the thing chiru is going 2 change….U had seen dat YSR and CBN had made dose things of illegal corrupted money making,ur thinking in dat perspective only.So now ur generalising dat moneymaking in politics 2 all d people in politics. This thing shows dat Mr Rav Man u have 2 mature more, think in broader perspective but not in narrow,k
Another question u arised is,wat sort of persons he has around???
IAS officers and IPS like KV raoIAS,Chandrasekhar IAS,well experienced politicians like Upendra,Harirama jogaiah, sivasankar and many more well educated nd talented nd decision making people..
U also arosed dat…He is getting the same old politicians from other parties! A jackal, whichever jungle it lives in, remains a jackal. You think a corrupt politician who joins PRP will suddenly become a good human being????
Y u think a person remained wid same mentality throughout his life career…
A surround environment would definetly change his mindset, dat means an uncorrupted decisionmaker none other dan chiru would definetly change the corrupted persons to a max extent
Another thing is Chiru is not going 2 give tickets 2 all who r jumped 4rm other parties, about 80% tickets r to a fresh blood who doesnot make 2 assembly previously…So brother …I really dont undstand ur name,,…Ok Mr Rav man, always think positively,u wil really achieve better results, dont get drooped by questioning others r urself wid unnecessary, cheap, waste of time questions about chiru
ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE MY BOY
April 1st, 2009 at 1:39 am
I can see that you guys are so obsessed with this guy that you will not agree to think outside the box.
You have grown up in this culture that adores and worships film actors - the people that make crores while the common man making a couple of hundred rupees a day has to pay 35/- or more to see them. These people are growing rich and fat because of people like you - yet you are like sheep that are going to the gullitone, not knowing where the butcher is taking it. Every sheep is totally unaware of the fate of the next one…
And now, not content with making money by fleecing the common man just through movies, all these guys are now in politics. Chiranjeevi, NTR, Baalakrishna, Jayaprada, Jayalalitha, Krishnam Raju, Naagaarjuna (Congress, I think?)… and so on and so forth.
HOW do you know Chiranjeevi is a nice person and honest? What has he done but give speeches? He has been active in the industry for what, 30 years now? How many acts of goodness or social service has he done? How many NGOs has he worked with? How many children has he helped educate? How many old people has he supported?
There is an old Panchatantra stroy - maybe you know it, but i will repeat it here. There was a woodcutter who went to the jungle as usual to cut his wood. One day he saw a tiger with a thorn in its foot. He went over and removed it. The tiger was very happy, and they became good friends. The woodcutter would spend some time every day with the tiget, and even bring good things to eat from home.
Now the tiger had some friends back in the jungle - a jackal and a snake (I think….) and they said to the tiger, “who brings you all this good stuff every day?” the tiger said its my friend the woodcutter. the animals could not believe that was possible - they said, can you show us this man? The tiger agreed. So on this day, As the woodcutter approached, he saw the jackal and the snake - and instead of greeting the tiger, ran and climbed up a tree, shaking. The tiger said, “friend, we have been meeting every day - and you were never afraid of me - what changed?” The woodcutter said, I toltally trust you - but your friends - I cannot trust them.
The great Pundit Vishnu Sarma wrote this Hundreds of years ago to teach politics and psycology to his disciples - with reason. A snake is a snake. Just because you raise it as one of your own, doesnt mean that you can forget to watch your back.
Even more than Chiranjeevi, the people have to raise their consciousness of the overall process. The “HAVES” always dominate the “HAVE NOTS”. The politicians are nobody’s friends. They are not in politics to help you or me. This applies to YSR and CBN as much as it applies to Chiranjeevi.
The world has seen the effects of big talkers with no experience before. These people will have to learn on the job - except the chief minister’s job is not a place to be learning on the job. Let these guys hold at least a smaller level office, learn how to govern first - then do this. For good or for bad, the present politicians have experience in governing.
For a parallel, this is like wanting to be a hero in the first movie just because one has connections, or money, etc., as opposed to learning through the ranks. I saw what a lousy actor this guy’s son - whathisname - Charan is - but is a star? because of what his dad achieved? does anyone even have taste when they say he is a good actor? Well, I could say my great granddad owned half of AP so all of you should call me Sriman Rai Bahadur something and I should get exceptional treatment everywhere I go.
If Chiranjeevi really wanted to help, he could have been doing this for 30 years. He has not. Why politics? well, that is where all the funding flows through, so of course he is in politics. If you tell me that he is spending all these hundreds of crores just out of the goodness of his heart, he could have spent the same amount of money is building schools, hospitals, orphanages. Has he (have you ??) ever considered the loss to the national economy from one of these street speeches? not just talking about Chiranjeevi - everyone.
As long as educated people like you continue to think this way, our country is still doomed. When you say we give him a chance, fine, give him a chance, and after he has ruled for 10 years and his brother has ruled for another 10, our state will remain exactly where it is - that is the price of your blind adulation. By the time you have grown older and your kids are in your place, you would have shed this crap and grown wiser, but then it will be too late and then your kids would be wooed by another film star - then, the same thing would repeat. We would thus get relegated to this state of things.
Look. Think. Get away from this crap and think for yourself. Question everything. Why are you taking for granted that he is an un-corrupted person? And that just because he can say “mass” dialogues in movies and his dupes can fly through the air, and the extras can all fly out when he swings his arm - does not make him special. He has ONLY PLAYED a nice person on screen. He has not done anything in his personal life to prove himself. Let him prove himself first.
I guess it does not matter who wins anyways, people like you and me are screwed no matter what… well I will let you be happy in your delusions. Its not your fault… India, especially AP, is star-struck: people will do whatever their favorite stars will say. Movies remain the most favorite pastime of AP. The Youth is totally lost, college kids and school kids talk about movies and chiranjeevi more than about education or other useful stuff. Women send their men to the offices and children to school and crowd the matinee movies.
So I guess its not your fault that you dont see the difference between a movie and real life - you grew up in that environment. So when Chiranjeevi says nice dialogues in Indra, you now assume he is going to really do it, you do not see his craftiness.
I guess I am wasting my breath. You have no hope.
April 1st, 2009 at 6:10 pm
first ques u asks me Mr.rav man..
HOW do you know Chiranjeevi is a nice person and honest????
Same ques Im asking u,HOW do you know Chiranjeevi is NOT a nice person and honest??Dats y im saying u people dont know 2 think poitive,Im saying dat we have 2 give one chance 2 chiru wat he wil do,if not another one and only one alternative for us we have 2 make Mr Rav man, a honest,a well known personality to AP people, who donated all his earned money 2 poorest of the poor, who thinks positive, who worked wid NGO’s and many more good qualities,am I correct Mr.Rav Man,Its nly d alternative 4r us 2 have Rav man as CM…
Next ques u raised here is…The chief minister’s job is not a place to be learning on the job.isn’t it?????
Ok i wil answer 4r ur ques…One thing we need 2 remember here, is CM post doen’t mean 2 come after getting a postgraduation degree in Politics,–In my opinion a person wid good common sense, good will, reactive heart for any cause,nd I think administrative knowledge 2 a CM candidate plays a minor part,he has 2 make policies, all d IAS nd IPS around him wil do d rest, his job is 2 moniter them and hope 4r the best to reach the policies to ground level.I mean 2 say CM should be transparent person ..
Finally i have 2 ask one ques with anxiety…Whom u think is the eligible candidate 4r CM of AP,is there any person dat is eligible 4r dis post in your opinion,If yes justify dat candidate,if NO,is it possible 4r a state widout a CM 4r 5years..
See mister, watz ur name…..Ur thoughts 2 nice,ur views r good, but wer they can implemented ,those kind of thoughts look good 2 share our views like ours but not possible 4r implementation my dear friend
Byee takecare
If yes whose dat lucky guy

One day I plan to return to India and run for office. lets see…. if as you say this guy is good (I seriously doubt it - but what the heck) , maybe something will change..
I am not unhappy with YSR or CBN. CBN has done a lot to improve AP, at least from what I have heard and read. YSR is picking up steam. I do not like the Congress Party in general though - one reason is Sonia Gandhi. I am not sure that her decisions are not coming form outside India.
CBN - I dont disagree with his policies.
I dont think there should be a separate telangana. Chiranjeevi has shown that he just the same as every other politician by supporting that cause. Has anyone asked the telangana people what their expectations really are? UP became UP and Jharkhand. ULFA wants a separate assam. how far do we go down this path? does anyone think?
Do the masses that run out to see the MegaStar dare ask him? Do they even care what becomes of them? NO. Its a mob out there.
I understand that its easy to comment from the outside. But only by staying outside can you see the goings-on inside and the relationships between the entities. I can see that we need schools, hospitals, water, electricity. We dont need pasupu-kumkuma. we dont need reservations. we dont need any special treatments or mistreatments of any class. we should stop paying for free haj. Everyone must follow the same rules, irrespective of religion, sex, caste, community, or creed.

HOW EASY IT IS, FOR ALL POLITICIANS, INCLUDING THIS FILM STAR, TO PROMISE WHATEVER THEY CAN THINK OF!
By making promises left and right, that he cannot possibly keep, Chiranjeevi is proving that he is no different from any other politician. To all the misguided youth in this forum and everywhere in Andhra that see his film stardom as the answer to all their problems, you are in for a big disappointment! He is not god, he is not your friend. He is a very rich movie star turning into a crooked politician.
